Since I first heard of Meridian 59: Requiem, I've thought about it a lot and after looking at the results of the polls well it seems that people are torn over weather it's a hoax or not.

Is it a hoax? I don't know, as far as I know only two people know for certain. When it comes right down to it, it's a good idea, adding the beauty of 3d graphics without losing Meridian's advantages over other games, namely it's community and PvP and giving the game we all love (well after looking at the message board, most of us) a new lease on life.
I don't completely believe that Requiem isn't a hoax, and I won't until I at least see some screen shots, but to be honest, I really don't care if it is a hoax. It doesn't change anything that's happening right now, and they don't gain anything, they aren't asking for money to get this project off the ground, nor are they looking to exploit people in anyway.

It's those reasons that I find it hard to believe that it is a hoax, the most they will gain is causing all the people who believe in it to be let down, and if they get thrills from this sort of childish behavior, I feel sorry for them.

So I leave you with this, Enjoy Meridian, and pray that they find their guidance from Shal'ille, not Riija or Qor. When it comes time for their presentation we will all be waiting and watching for news.

Also remember that even if this is not a hoax, 3do must still agree to it, and I pray that all their work will not prove pointless.
