VaporWare? Haha! No way!
1/14/2000 8:36:53 PM - Asylum One

Well, first off, I'd like to thank Erick for telling everyone that we'd have a screen shot up in a week...THANKS ERICK!

Since I'm the one doing most of the 3D modeling and animation, I guess I'll be busy for the next week. But, sadly, this will mean I'll have to play around with the new Voodoo 3500 AGP card I just got.. *sigh*

Folks, don't get your panties in a whirl--we've been working on the presentation for 3DO, which means we haven't been building anything within the engine YET. I've been modeling like mad in 3D Studio MAX r2.5 and trueSpace 3--yes, they're both outdated, however, they're also cheap in comparison to their newly conformed counterparts.

Erick and I were up late last night working on the music for the presentation..er, I was watching, mostly (this is why Erick is doing the audio--I'm only good at listening to it and applying it to video...)

At this point in time, we're running on somewhat slow machines. We're both on 266MHz processors. We've been spending money on upgrades, though. I myself just recently bought a 20GB hard drive, the Voodoo 3500, a SoundBlaster LIVE MP3+, and the FPS 1000 surround sound speakers and subwoofer. Yet to come is memory...lots of RAM for the 3D stud!

Pardon me if I ramble.

Folks, we will present something to you so that you change your minds about whether the existance of this project is true or not. The M59R project is legitimate, and is no hoax. Our original plan was to suprise everyone with a piece of the presentation, but blood has been drawn--you win. ;)
