I was just thinking and it occurred to me that on this day in '96, 3 long years ago the first god’s gifts came out. People had surprise and delight in their eyes as they noticed the gifts and tried to unwrap them, then tried to figure out what there new items did.

I remember people swapping them for the ones that complimented them best and it was very easy to do not like in these days.

People also started hoarding them, since they would sell for 5K, gathering as many gifts as they could. I had about 10 at one point but was storing them in my guildhall and a member looted it, rebuilt then lost them to a hall takeover (d'oh).

Well just a memory or two for you guys. Maybe if we all go to bed early on Friday and be good, Santa will send us all something nice. :)
