Introducing the Meridian 59 Screenshot Contest!

Have some Meridian moments in time you'd like to share with the community and the world? Now is the time!

You versus a horde of mutant ants, standing on top of the cliffs?

A skeleton army advancing on you in Castle Victoria?

The Ghost of Far'Nohl launching a deadly fireball into your face?

The Avars in full-battle mode?

Your guild at war, ghosts, dead bodies, rings of fire in the otherwise civil streets of Barloque?



By submitting the photo you will share the web-publishing of them to Gilroy's Meridian 59 Reference Site and the current owners of Meridian 59 for possible use in the marketing of the game in online media.

These photos will eventually be featured on Gilroy's Meridian 59 Reference and possibly in other forms online to help showcase the game world and community of Meridian 59.

This contest will be open to all players on Server 101 or 102.

The "Meridian 59" Screenshot Contest Has Begun!



Send all submissions in JPG or BMP format to: subscriptions@meridian59.com

Submissions will be judged by a "panel" of administrators related to Gilroy's Reference Site and the "Meridian 59" game service.

There will be one winner and two runner ups* per month until further notice (*depending on amount of submissions, the runner-ups may increase to five.)

The current deadline is February 28, 2011.



Prizes (beyond glory):



1st Place - 500,000 shillings, three creature masks of your choosing, a three-sided prism, two roses, and two sets of heartstones.

Runner Ups - 100,000 shillings, a rose, a heartstone and a creature mask of your choosing.



Submission Guidelines:



- Game-play screen shots only.

- From the current version of the game.

- Screen-shots should not show negatives - "bugs", graphical errors or any issues with the game.

- High resolution/Real-Time Lighting graphics preferred!

Note: You can be as creative as you like with the contents and framing of your shots - those that show off the game world, creatures, spell effects best - if it wows you it will wow others - will be the ones that have a greater chance of winning. However, a well-composed shot of something simple (Ex: the Jewel of Froz in the Underground Lake screenshot used in the NDS era) would also be a worthy submission.
