In response to its customer base, NDS decided to make the following changes on both Server 101 and Server 102--

On 101:
advancement increased by 50%
money drops increased by 25%
item drops increased by 50%
spawn rates increased by 10%

on 102:
advancement increased by 200% (that's 3x normal imp rate)
item drops increased by 100%
death penalties lowered to 50% of "normal"
spawn rates increased by 10%

For those curious, "advancement" rate does include toughers.
