As explained in the message of the day on the login screen, we had trouble with our save game archiving system. As a result of lost saves, we had to roll back 6 days. Practically everything was lost since this time. Characters created since that time must be recreated as well.

I know this is pretty devastating. I can't tell you how sick I feel right now knowing how we have let you know.

We are working on making this up to everyone. Our current plans are as follows:

We've given 100k shillings to every character as an immediate measure.

We increased spawn rates slightly and increase the drop rates from everything. We're also mildly increasing the overall improve rate to partially make up for the lost time. This will remain in effect for about 10 days.

On Wednesday the 28th we will be granting 3 bonus hit points to every player. This will allow people to recreate characters and do some building before getting this bonus.

We are pushing up the release of the patch I've been working on. I've been working on some new event code that we wanted to release soon. We'll be running some small events in the mean time and will be pushing up the timeline on a large event we were working on. We'll be awarding some special prizes during these events.

Let me wrap up with a personal plea. We're working hard to make this up to you, and are having to adjust personal time to compensate for this. We are all going to be working hard, so please try to be civil when discussing this with us.
