Some news from 3DO……

Price drop:

The price drop will be put into effect on July 1, 1999. The billing agreement will be switching to a MONTHLY FLAT FEE of $14.95 USD.

What does this mean?
If you log onto your Meridian 59 account every minute of every day for a month or if you do not log into an account once in that same month, you will still pay the same subscription rate of $14.95 USD. Again, the price for owning a Meridian 59 account will be $14.95 USD per month, and you will be allowed unlimited gameplay at this price.


Current billing plan:
$2.49/day, maximum of $29.88/mo.

As of July 1:
$14.95/month, unlimited gameplay.


Please make sure that your account information (mailing address, billing information, e-mail address) is up to date. If you have any inquiries about this change or about your account information, please send them to meridian59-billing@3do.com. Please include your login name, server number, and PIC along with your inquiry.

Liberation Patch status:

The latest estimate from the development team has the patch scheduled to roll live in early July.
The development team has targeted the following areas:
Combat engine
Improvement engine
Spells/skills
Animation bug
More information will follow as we continue to test the changes being made. Please note that a small download will be required when first logging in after the patch goes live.

Server merge:

No decisions have yet been made concerning a possible server merge. We are still developing and testing technology to make a server merge possible.

For those that have filled out and e-mailed in the survey that was posted on the inn globes, we thank you. For those that have not, please take the time to fill it out, as your input is greatly appreciated.

Suggestions:
