Meridian 59 is breathing again. The pulse of life is reverberating through everyone involved. All players have joined together with the common goal of helping make the re-launch a success. Players who were once mortal enemies now share a bond of kinship that is founded in the heart blood of nostalgia.

Beta testing is going extremely well. With the help of the beta testers, NDS is currently focusing primarily on issues such as text bugs and graphical errors. A lot of time and effort has gone into making the system less prone to client crashes and consequently is more stable than it has ever been. The plan is to start testing game play and performance in the coming weeks.

NDS does plan to invite more people into the beta but has not made a commitment as to when this will happen. They will make an announcement when it is time. Near the end of the beta period they will need many testers to help with stress testing the servers. During this time, they plan to open the servers to as many people as they can make accounts for.

The public release will be here before you know it. As soon as I know the actual date, you’ll be the first to know. I don’t know about you… but, I can’t wait!!!
