You can contribute to Los Angeles Times article about Meridian59

I was contacted by a reporter of the Tech Times section of the Los Angeles Times this week. The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) [http://www.e3expo.com/] will be hosting conferences and expositions next week in Los Angeles, CA. The reporter is doing an article on the landmark RPG game, "Meridian59," and the players who remain faithful to it.

I spoke with him for a while on the phone. He asked questions like, "What are your fondest memories of the game", "Are you playing on the German/Russian servers", "Were you online the last day the American servers were live", "Do you keep in contact with the friends you made in the game".

==============================
It would be terrific if people could relay their experiences on M59, especially specific ones (someone they met, a particular battle, victory, defeat, etc). They can send them to david.colker@latimes.com.

Also, if anyone has information on the origin of the Russian server, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again!

The article will be featured in the Tech Times section of the Los Angeles Times [http://www.latimes.com/business/cutting/ttimes/] on Thursday, May 17, 2001. Check it out!

Take care,
Gilroy
