BlackStone's Meridian Translations
3/16/2001 4:00:02 PM - Server KOS

Meridian has its own language, as I'm sure most of you know. In my time playing the game I have collected a few words and phrases that don't mean the same thing in real lifeas they do here . . . these are a few of those translantions.

DOOD! = Greetings my fellow adventurer!

Sup = How are you this fine day?

bro = Sir, Mister, Miss or Madam

Kewl = How extrodinary!

Lets Duel = Letus step outside while I and my six friends gang attack you.

We at War = My guild and another are currently broadcasting vulgar insults at each other from the safety of adventure halls and inns, unless we or they have a six to one advantage and catch the enemy in a vulnerable spot.

You were owned = Although I was lucky enough to get the upperhand this time I salute you great warrior! What a grand battle we had!

u = You. (An abbreviation for the word you. Basically states that the speaker is too lazy to type two more letters and should probably be shot to be put out of thier misery.)

YOU SUCK! = Your battle prowess leaves much to be desired! You were defeated easily be me and my 6 friends!

were = We're, where, wear or where (Actually this is only one spelling of many for the words, we're, where, were, and wear. All of which seem to be interchangeable and simply state that the speaker would have faliled the M59 IQ test had one been required or they are not yet graduated from primary school. This can also include the interchangeable words thier, they're, and there.)

KOS = Kill On Sight (In most cases this actually means Run Away From On Sight, or Log On Sight And Get On A Mule And Broadcast The Location, or Broadcast Obscenities And Insults From The Safety Of An Inn Upon Sight.)

PKer = A person who has randomly killed another or has had the misfortune to irritate someone else of high level who has decided that you must die for the good of the server, and of course, their ego.

Loc of PKerNAME = Has anyone seen that foul murderer PKerNAME so that I might get myself as far from his location as possible?
