Renting a Room: How can I do this?

How do I rent a room?
Choose the inn that you wish to purchase a room from.

Go to the NPC that runs the inn and say rent room.
If there is a room available and you have 5000 shillings in your inventory you will be given a gold room key. The key will have a description that says "Player Name's room at Chosen Inn." You can also make copies of your key for 500 shillings each.

This first 5000 shillings will buy you 84 Meridian days with your room. Each RL day equals about 12 meridian days, so you now have the room for one week. Offer the innkeeper more money to extend the room. You can only rent a maximum of 3 RL weeks. 1K per RL day, or 1K per 12 Meridian days.

Walk to the room door, normally at the back of an inn and double-click your key. A white flashing light will appear briefly and you will be standing in your newly purchased room.

There will be a bell on one of the walls. Right click the bell and hit the use button. A servant will tell you he is ready to help.

Say Help and the servant will list the options you have in purchasing and rearranging furniture.

Now, this is where the fun begins. Here is a list of the things you can do, and the options within them.

Now, for placing objects it’s a little bit different. You always start with the same four objects, a washbasin, a table, a palm, and a stool.

When you offer your heartstones to the servant you get more options available to you.

All items cost 500 shillings each, except the wooden box, which costs 5000.

Command: 'Place <object> here'

>>With a Blue heartstone:

The interior design consultant says, "Excellent! I can make water containers with this blue heartstone."

A water urn, a water jug, a jade plant, and a cooking cauldron.

Example: "place a water jug here."

>>With a Brown heartstone:

The interior design consultant says, "I can now offer you a few items made from stone since I have this brown heartstone."

A stone chair, a decorative urn, a large urn, a decorative blue urn, and a pillar.

Example: "place a large urn here."

>>With a Red heartstone:

The interior design consultant says, "Ah, with this red heartstone, I can offer you items that require fire."

A skull brazier, a brazier, an orc torch, a black stone lamp, and a candle.

Example: "place an orc torch here."

>>With a Sky heartstone:

The interior design consultant says, "With this sky heartstone, I can make some wonderful things!"

A tome, a bolt of cloth, a box of dried snakes, and a bone structure.

Example: "place a bone structure here."

With all four heartstones you can purchase the 2 rare items.

The interior design consultant says, "I am also impressed that you have all the heartstones. I can make some rare objects that require them all."

A wire cage, and personal chest.

Example: "place personal chest here."

NOTES:

Each heartstone allows you to buy 5 of an item from the corresponding category.

The box and wire cage require all 5 selections from each HS, so don’t buy anything before the box or wire cage.

YOUR ROOM KEY WILL NOT DROP ON DEATH. NEITHER SILVER OR GOLD.

Other commands:

'Move bed here' (100 shillings)
'Move a painting here' (100 shillings)
'Remove <object>' (Removes the object placing shillings into your balance.)
'Balance' (Shows any money you have from removing items.)
'pricing' (Not exact, but gives a rough idea.)

I think that's all for now. Any mistakes or info should be sent to FattyMoo.

Enjoy!
