***WARNING*** Once you have acquired soldier shields you are openly attackable by any other Players that have soldier shields for their factions.

You can take your need for power into high gear by becoming a "Soldier" (See "How do I become a Soldier?" and by "taking land" in the name of the faction you serve.

You get flags from your various lieges in the chambers where they are located. Take the flags and "use" them at the flag poles you find through out the land of Meridian 59. Once the flag is in play you must remain alert and ready to face all comers for 5 minutes, then the land is yours but is able to be "taken" by another faction at any time.
