There is a way to get disciple robes without having to pay money for them.

Two clothing merchants on the mainland - Madelia, in Bourgeois Castle and Hester Gilk in Cor Noth - will offer this quest.

Here is an example of how to do it.


Example:

Madelia tells you, "Wouldst thou do something for me? I will reward thee. I have insect troubles, it is so, indeed."

You say, "insects"

Madelia tells you, "Verily, some large insect was nesting in my storage area for a while. I managed to force it out by building a small fire and blowing smoke inside. When the smoke cleared I sought out my special stash of dress patterns, and one was missing!"

You say, "pattern"

Madelia tells you, "I need that pattern back, and I'll wager it is still stuck to that insect's carapace. Could thou get it back for me? The problem is, with all that smoke I could see not when it ran off quite what kind of bug it was. It can not be too far away, though."

Go kill a spider or ant on the screen "The Flatlands" and one of the creatures will drop a pattern scroll. Bring it back to Madelia and offer it to her.

Madelia tells you, "Bless thee, child! Here, this robe is from one of my other special patterns. It has a very ancient design indeed. Wear it well, friend."

Reward: Kraanan disciple robes (this can be dependant on your school/schools or it can be completely random.)
