Creature: Orc Wizard



Description:

Harnessing dark powers from deep underground, the Orc Wizards enforce the mandates of their chieftain, such as extermination of the enemy shadow beasts. How the orcs came upon the powers of magic is unknown, but the thought of man's greatest enemy armed with arcane power is enough to make any warrior queasy.

Casts vertigo, killing fields, and "slitherbolt" (unique attack to this creature).


Notes:

It's handy to keep an Orc Wizard alive in the larger maps as long as you are not in its line of sight - they will frequently cast Killing Fields, giving you a +5 damage bonus to your attacks towards the other creatures in the room.

They may drop a purple "slitherbolt" wand when killed.

A good source of clean Robes of the Disciple, Dispel Illusion reagents, gnarled staves, various gems and Orc Teeth.
